After four decades of exemplary service and leadership, Paul Wright, a principal figure in the company’s growth as both a co-owner and director, is stepping aside, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the organisation.

Under his stewardship, Harcourts has cemented its reputation as a trusted partner for property seekers and investors globally.
Now, this legacy will continue through a new wave of experienced leaders, whose collective expertise solidifies the organisation’s future.
A Transition Anchored in Strength and Experience
The transition sees the ownership of Harcourts International pass into the hands of highly respected leaders within the business, thereby ensuring both continuity and a solid foundation for future growth.
The new ownership structure is as follows:
Mike Green, International Managing Director, Irene Green, Head of Professional Development, and sons Mitchell Green, Head of People and Culture and Steven Green, Technology Operations Manager, will extend their ownership stake, building on decades of dedication to Harcourts’ global success.

Bryan Thomson, New Zealand Managing Director, and Jo Clifford, New Zealand Chief Operating Officer, will also acquire ownership stakes, ensuring the company’s ongoing strength at a national level in New Zealand.
Enhancing Harcourts’ leadership further, partners from Harcourts’s largest franchise, Harcourts Cooper & Co Real Estate Ltd (Martin Cooper, Rob Carter, Mitch Cooper, and Andrew North) bring their extensive franchise expertise and an astute understanding of market dynamics to the table, also acquiring shares in the International parent company.
Commitment to Growth and Vision
With this carefully structured leadership team in place, Harcourts International is poised for significant growth opportunities both domestically and internationally.
Each new owner brings unparalleled expertise, a shared vision, and a deep commitment to Harcourts’ mission of delivering exceptional service to clients and fostering meaningful relationships within communities around the world.
“Harcourts has always stood for innovation, professionalism, and quality,” Mike Green, International Managing Director said.
“This new structure underpins the company’s commitment to continuity while injecting new energy, ideas, and ambition to take Harcourts to the next level.
“Guided by strong leadership, we are confident in our ability to thrive in an evolving global real estate landscape.”
