Somebody get Mike White on the phone, because Selma Blair is ready for her season of The White Lotusâa thing I didnât know I needed until right this moment.
In her cover interview for Us Weekly, Blair was asked about kind of work sheâd like to do next. âI would die to get on The White Lotus and work with Mike White and have that rebirth like Jennifer Coolidge,â the star responded.

Blair, of course, starred with Coolidge in the classic Legally Blonde. But she largely slowed down with her acting work after she had her son, Arthur, and began experiencing her first symptoms of multiple sclerosis (MS), which wasnât diagnosed until 2018.
âIt was a very hard time in my life. But it was the catalyst to become who I am now,â she told Glamour in a 2023 interview. âI still feel like I never really hit my stride with acting because after Hellboy I was so sick that I really stepped away. And because I wasnât a huge star, no one came looking.â
After her diagnosis, Selma Blair spent a few years filming a documentary about herself and living with MS, and pivoted her focus to activism. But now sheâs more than ready to rejoin Hollywood.
âIâd [also] love to do a period pieceâa Downton Abbey type of thing or a Joan of Arc Mad Max. Iâm open for business,â she told Us.
