Dallas-based Mycon General Contractors has added a new preconstruction director to its Nashville team, the firm announced Monday.
Josh Yoder, who has 16 years of preconstruction experience, will lead the firm’s Nashville preconstruction team and guide projects in the industrial, manufacturing and retail sectors from preconstruction through completion.
As director of preconstruction, Yoder will collaborate with internal teams, clients, architects and subcontractors in an effort to smooth project transitions from concept to construction. He’ll be responsible for driving efficiency, managing costs and innovating at each stage of the construction process.
Yoder has worked as an estimator and preconstruction manager in the Nashville area, according to his LinkedIn profile. He has provided preconstruction services for over 2 million square feet of projects with budgets up to $80 million, according to the release shared with Construction Dive.
“His deep knowledge of market dynamics and strong subcontractor relationships in the Nashville area will further bolster MYCON’s ability to deliver efficient, cost-effective solutions that meet the growing demands of our clients, ultimately turning their dreams into a reality,” Chip Myers, Mycon partner and senior vice president, said in the release.
Mycon has an annual revenue of over $565 million, per the release, with a portfolio spanning retail, multifamily, industrial, automation, office, healthcare and religious projects.
