A lot has changed since Hailey Bieber attended Coachella in April 2024.
This time last year, Bieber was still pregnant with her first child, prioritizing “comfort” in oversized bomber jackets and adding a little bit of spice with radioactive green nails. Now, baby Jack Blues Bieber is seven-months-old and his mom has embraced a completely different festival aesthetic.
On day one of Coachella 2025, Hailey Bieber hit up the 818 tequila outpost in an itty-bitty black halter minidress and kitten-heel thong sandals, a far cry from the low-slung cargo pants and baseball caps of yesteryear. The 28-year-old highlighted the switch on her Instagram story, sharing a look at one of last year’s looks before debuting this year’s opening ensemble.

She’s also sweetened her nail look significantly, opting for a soft pink manicure with what appears to be some 3D dewy details. The 28-year-model posed with Kendall Jenner inside Rhode’s photo booth, carrying one of her many Rhode peptide lip tints and donning some skinny black shades.

Another big change from last year is the loss of Hailey Bieber’s signature bob, which has long since grown out past her shoulders, cascading down her back in loose waves. Hailey Bieber has inspired countless women to cut their hair short since taking the plunge in January 2023, but is now encouraging new moms to wait a beat before making any “big hair decisions.”
She recently advised caution to an influencer debating the Bieber Bob in a TikTok video. “You would look stunning, but let’s hold hands and agree to not make any big hair decisions postpartum,” she commented on Melody Miles’ post. “Personally giving myself at least a year!”
Does that mean we can expect to see Hailey Bieber renew her bob in August? We’ll have to wait and see.
