Jenn Tranâs Dancing with the Stars journey is off to a hot start. The first Asian American Bachelorette isnât letting a little thing like a broken engagement slow her down; sheâs ready to show everyone just how unbothered (and hot) she is following her teary breakup with Devin Strader.
âThe whole journey happened in a way that needed to happen, and Iâm very happy with the way that things ended,â Tran told Glamour at the start of the season. âItâs definitely an ending that I didnât see coming for myself. My family wonât see it coming, and I donât think the viewers will see it coming too. Iâm excited for it all to unfold.â
During the live finale of The Bachelorette, Tran sobbed while watching the footage of the moment she proposed to Strader, with him proposing right back a moment later. She had just revealed that only a month prior, Strader dumped her over the phone and ignored her texts. âHeâd basically said that he didnât love me anymore and didnât feel the same way and felt like something had been off since the second that he proposed. He regretted getting engaged,â she told the audience. It was an uncomfortable watch to say the least, especially as Strader has reportedly been spending time since the breakup flirting with other women.
But now that Jenn Tran is on Dancing with the Stars, sheâs getting another chance at a happy ending.
Tears now dried, the University of Wisconsin alum stepped out for her first appearance with her DWTS partner, Sasha Farber, in a tiny, lime green dress (it looks white under a flash but trust, itâs green) that makes it clear Tran is ready for Brat Fall.
