It came as no surprise when Gap’s collaboration with DÃEN sold out almost immediately in May 2024. The collection merged DÃEN’s California-cool femininity with Gap’s signature essentials to create pieces that fused timelessness with just a sprinkle of whimsy, all at Gap’s under-$150 prices. As a response to the success, Gap and DÃEN are teaming up for a second, 38-piece collection, which drops Friday, May 2 at 12 p.m. ET.
“Our first collection with DÃEN set a new bar for how a collaboration can infuse a fresh perspective into Gap essentials, creating covetable pieces that left our customers wanting more,â said Mark Breitbard, President & CEO of Gap, in a press release. âReuniting with DÃENâan inspiring partner that shares our valuesâhas allowed us to build on that momentum with a new summer-ready collection.âÂ

We were overwhelmed by the excitement and success of our first collection with Gap,” said Margaret Kleveland, co-founder and CEO of Dôen, in a press release. “Our second collaboration blends the effortless femininity and timeless style of both brands, while celebrating the incredible community that has shaped Dôen.”
The collection perfectly embodies breezy coastal dressing, with a slew of nautical blues, eyelet details, and vintage-feeling gingham. Reimagined denim pieces also come into play with an oversized denim jacket (my bets are on this being the first piece to sell out), and high-rise, pleated denim trouser shorts. The first collection’s viral eyelet maxi dresses are also back in additional colorways and in a new, short length option.
Gap x DÃEN’s second collection ranges from $34 to $158 and will be available both online and in select Gap stores.
