This is a book two so there are spoilers from book one below.
Onyeka is still trying to find her parents while avoiding Dr. Doyinbo. He starts entering dreams. The Dr. tells the academy that the kids are all traitors. Oneyka’s aunt is working on the serum so they can use their magic without cutting their lives short. When Dr. Doyinbo finds their hideout, the group has to find help from a rebel group. They were told that the rebel group was bad, but the leader was friends with Onyeka’s dad. He’s been trying to find him. But Onyeka struggles to know who to trust.
