Savills Australia and New Zealand has strengthened its NSW Property Consultancy team with the appointment of Associate Directors, Kara Krason and Larissa Ozog.
The strategic hires bolster the team’s capability as it expands its reputation as a trusted industry advisor and continues to be appointed on key projects across the country.
With over 25 years of experience in town planning, urban design, and public administration, Kara Krason brings a wealth of expertise in planning strategy, master planning, strategic planning, major project developments and stakeholder engagement to the team.
Ms Krason has honed her expertise across various sectors with former roles within government, property development, private consultancy and education.
She also has expertise in public administration, having served as a NSW Government-appointed Regional Planning Panel member for the Hunter and Central Coast Region and as a past and current expert member on several NSW Council Local Planning Panels.
Larissa Ozog joins Savills with over 25 years of experience in urban planning and project management with expertise in major capital projects.
Ms Ozog specialises in simplifying complex processes, identifying impacts and risks and exploring solutions to deliver informed, high-quality decision-making for large-scale civic and cultural developments.
She has been successful in achieving and managing approvals for significant social infrastructure projects and has experience in residential and mixed-use developments.
Ms Ozog currently serves as an Expert Independent Planning Panel member on a number of local council planning panels and has previous direct work experience in local and state government.
She has held senior roles at Health Infrastructure, Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure at several local councils and the private sector.
Ms Krason’s remit will see her working with the University of Western Australia on its Campus Master Plans and providing planning services for a range of clients.
Meanwhile, Ms Ozog will initially focus on civic and cultural projects for Blacktown City Council, as well as the Edmondson Park project for Landcom.
