While everyone else is doing monochrome ’fits, Taylor Swift is mixing it up with a little throwback hipster moment.
The songwriter was seen on another one of her patented girl dinner dates in New York City on November 13 in an outfit that combined a variety of fall-appropriate hues at once. For her base layer, Swift wore a simple white slip dress, which she topped with a navy blue peacoat. Next, the “Blank Space” singer added a mini shoulder bag in olive green and finished the look with sheer black tights and chunky, reddish-brown heeled loafers. A Rory Gilmore–era look if I’ve ever seen one.
Swift was joined by her mentee and fellow singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams, who has been opening for Swift on her Eras Tour. Abrams opted for a more menswear-inspired look, wearing dark gray trousers, black loafers with white socks, and a short khaki jacket. Per People, Swift and Abrams were dining at Freeman’s, a hip American spot on Manhattan’s Lower East Side neighborhood.
If there’s one thing Taylor Swift loves, it’s boosting other artists with smaller public profiles than hers. And if there are two things she loves, the other is taking her A-list friends out to dinner in downtown (always downtown) New York City.
