Taylor Swift Is Basically a Ray of Sunshine in This Supercasual Off-Duty Look

Taylor Swift has touched down in Miami ahead of her final leg of the Eras Tour, which begins this evening at Hard Rock Stadium. Swift took a brief hiatus after completing the 17-city European leg of the Eras Tour earlier this summer, but, as she made clear in her caption, vacations never last forever.

“Back in the office,” she captioned a new video, in which she takes in the empty stadium. The 34-year-old was looking like a ray of sunshine in a marigold crewneck sweatshirt, which she styled with lightly distressed straight-leg denim and cognac stack-heel sandals. Florida is the Sunshine State, after all.

Swift accessorized with a pair of cat-eye sunglasses and an actual cat, her Scottish Fold Olivia Benson. With her classic red lip and bright, beachy color palette, she was giving 1989 energy, a refreshing change from her moodier looks of late, which unleashed another storm of Reputation (Taylor’s Version) rumors. (Sometimes a snake motif is just a snake motif!)

That said, Swifties are hung up on another theory that has nothing to do with sartorial “clues.” Earlier this month, fans speculated that she would announce Rep TV at her Miami show because Miami is featured in the music video for “End Game,” a single from Reputation. It sounds like a reach to me, but I’ve been wrong before.

Following Hurricanes Milton and Helene, which ravaged the state as well as several other parts of the southeast earlier this month, Taylor Swift donated $5 million toward relief efforts. While Miami fared better than Florida’s west coast—especially Tampa, where the roof of the Tampa Bay Rays’s Tropicana Stadium was destroyed—the city dealt with flooding due to the storm surge. Florida-based Swifties will no doubt receive a sweet shout-out from the singer this evening as she takes the stage.
