Frog meme coins are back in the spotlight, sparked by Elon Musk’s recent moniker change on X. The world’s richest man changed his name to Kekius Maximus, a gladiator version of Pepe The Frog.
The Pepe price rallied in the aftermath, trading as high as $0.000021. Low-cap meme coin Kekius Maximus (KEKIUS) rallied nearly 900% as well. However, KEKIUS erased all its gains after Musk went back to his original moniker while PEPE has remained largely resilient.
Another low-cap token Wall Street Pepe (WEPE) has surpassed the $40 million mark in its presale, with experts viewing it as one of the best meme coins to buy in 2025.
Pepe Coin All-Time High Imminent – Should Investors Rotate Capital To Frog Meme Tokens?
Tesla and X owner Elon Musk has surprisingly emerged as one of the biggest Pepe supporters.
The world’s richest man has been posting a plethora of frog memes, even liking a post calling him “the Pepefather”. For the uninitiated, Musk assumed the title of “the Dogefather”, which resulted in a massive spike in the DOGE price.
In the latest development of this saga, Musk changed his moniker on X, calling himself Kekius Maximum. He also changed his profile picture to a frog gladiator playing a video game.
The Pepe price rallied nearly 18% following Musk’s X transformation, trading as high as $0.000021, while also flipping Dogecoin’s trading volume on Wednesday.
Even as Elon went back to his original profile picture and image, the Pepe price has remained largely resilient, hitting the $0.000021 mark again on Thursday before a marginal correction.
All eyes are now on the token’s 50-day Simple Moving Average indicator, which is currently hovering at $0.0000207. A weekly close above this level would pave the way for new all-time highs. The meme coin is trading 28% below its current all-time high of $0.000028.

However, long-term projections from experts suggest that it could be time to go all in on frog meme coins. There is a growing consensus that the Pepe coin could reach $50 billion market capitalization in 2025, nearly 6x growth from its current $8.5 billion valuation.
Is Wall Street Pepe The Best Meme Coin To Buy Now?
Pepe’s rosy prospects are bullish for other low-cap frog meme coins.
For instance, Wall Street Pepe is seeing heavy whale bidding during its ongoing presale. At the time of writing, WEPE has crossed the $40 million mark.
This project combines Pepe The Frog and The Wolf of the Wall Street to enrich investors’ experience.
However, its key selling point is its VIP “alpha calls” group, which will include all WEPE holders. The project’s core mission is to challenge the hegemony of whales and insiders in the meme coin sector and offer a fair playing ground to small-scale investors.
All group members will receive cutting-edge alpha, market insights, trading strategies and even the best meme coins to invest in, everything they need to reap maximum profits in the upcoming bull market.
Meanwhile, early WEPE buyers are already benefiting from the token’s native staking pool, which is offering passive yields at a reward rate of over 30%.
With Elon Musk showing public support for frog meme coins, experts believe that WEPE could be one of the biggest winners of the 2025 meme coin supercycle.
A few experts are even calling it the next 10x meme coin.
