What Our Editors Are Buying From the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

Every year, the Nordstrom Sale is marked on our editors’ calendars and circled in red marker due to the unique opportunity to score next season’s pieces at a major discount. We scour every page of the sale, write down our wishlists, and do everything in our power to get our hands on the pieces we want before they’re gone. (Staying up until midnight? NBD.)

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale has earned a reputation for being the best sale of the year thanks to pages and pages of discounts on brand-new drops (rather than last season’s pieces), and 2024’s sale has some of the best deals we’ve seen—ever. This year, we’re making purchases we’re very excited about, and since we don’t gatekeep, we’re sharing exactly what’s on our editors’ wishlists. From full-size beauty sets at unbelievable prices to jackets we’re planning on living in this fall, these are the pieces our editors purchased (or have in our carts) from this year’s sale. Trust us: You don’t want to miss out on them.

Treasure & Bond

Sale price: $239 After sale: $359

While it’s hard to imagine shopping for a leather jacket in July, I’m setting myself up for success this fall by buying this leather bomber jacket now. I spent the entirety of last year itching for one, and at $120 off, it’s time to finally add one to my closet. It’s an investment piece I know will be my go-to for years to come.

Save the Duck

Sale price: $229 After sale: $348

2 colors available

Save The Duck has been my go-to brand for winter jackets for the past few years, and I have my eye on this longer style to help me battle Boston winters. This jacket is warm, but not bulky, and the water-resistant exterior also makes unexpected snow and rain a non-issue.

When I think of the Nordstrom sale, my mind immediately goes to one thing: shoes. I don’t think I’ve gone a single year without snagging a pair from the sale, and this year, I have my heart set on these silver ballet flats. While I already own a few pairs of flats, the silver will serve as an unexpected pop with my fall outfits, and I’m so excited to make them a part of my go-to outfits.

New Balance

Sale price: $79 After sale: $99

I’ve been lusting after these classic New Balance sneakers forever, but seeing them at a major discount means it’s finally time to get them. I’ve yet to find a sneaker that works just as well during a hot girl walk as it does with trousers and a tee for a stylish OOTD. These are bound to become my most-worn shoes in no time.

adidas

The last thing I need is another pair of Adidas, but in my defense, all the pairs I own are white, and I’ve had my eye on this pink and green pair forever. I love leaning on a colorful shoe to elevate my outfits, and these will serve as the perfect statement piece.

Jenny Bird

Sale price: $64 After sale: $98

2 colors available

I love all my Jenny Bird jewelry, so when I saw they had a few items featured in the Nordstrom Sale this year, I knew I had to snag something. I’ve always been a devout gold jewelry lover, but lately, I’ve loved the idea of mixing metals, and these silver huggies are an excellent starting point to add to my collection.

AllSaints

I am quite literally obsessed with crossbody bags at the moment, and I’ve had my eye on this bag for months. The half-moon shape is incredibly chic, and the adjustable strap means that I can make it work with any outfit. This is the #1 item I’m snagging at the sale.

Kiehl’s

Sale price: $68 After sale: $105

Beauty products rarely go on sale, especially cult-favorite items like Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream. This is the only moisturizer I use on my sensitive skin, and it’s so lightweight that I use it all year round. I’m adding multiple of these to my cart so I’m stocked for the foreseeable future.

L’Occitane

Sale price: $49 After sale: $88

In my effort to master The Art of Smelling Good, I started incorporating shower oils into my beauty routine, and this product has been a life saver. This oil cleanses the skin while hydrating, leaving my skin soft and supple—and smelling absolutely amazing. I’m so excited to be able to stock up on it at half the price.

Nécessaire

Sale price: $32 After sale: $50

Anyone who knows me knows that the Nécessaire Body Wash is my entire personality at this point. I’ve been using it for years, and  it’s my go-to gift for a host or birthday. It smells like a spa, and it doesn’t hurt that it looks chic AF sitting on the counter or perched in your shower. I’m buying as many of these sets as I can get my hands on.

Gucci

Sale price: $145 After sale: $206

I got a sample size of Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia and fell head-over-heels in love with it. It has an elevated, clean floral scent and lasts all day long. I’ve never seen it on sale, so now is my time to finally invest in the full size.

Le Labo

Sale price: $67 After sale: $99

I’ve been on the hunt for a new signature scent for some time now, and I always find myself dreaming of Le Labo but have been too nervous to pull the trigger due to their higher price point. This sample set is going to allow me to finally test the perfumes of my dreams so I can find my new go-to with confidence.

Béis

Sale price: $162 After sale: $238

I gifted my sister the Béis weekender bag last year, and it’s made my entire family become Béis fans. Their quality is unmatched, and their designs are simply the chicest luggage I’ve seen. This year, I’m gifting her the Carry-On roller in this fabulous pink color (her favorite!) to help grow her collection.

Béis

Sale price: $102 After sale: $138

I’ve had my eye on a Béis bag for a while now, and as if it were fate, the commuter duffle is a part of the Anniversary Sale. Since I often take the train from Chicago to Michigan to visit family, this duffle is the perfect size to fit any necessities for weekend trips and will be easier to travel with than a suitcase. I’m totally obsessed with the baby pink color, too.
