If you’re like me, you couldn’t wait for the geniuses of ABC’s “The View” to return from their summer vacation! Welp, on Tuesday, the wait was over! The ladies were back, and they were just as ridiculously idiotic as they’ve ever been. Maybe even more so — if that’s even possible.
The topic du jour for Mensa members Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Alyssa Farah Griffin, and pretend-Republican Sara Haines was twofold: the “joyful” Democrat National Convention — AKA “The largest, most ridiculous gaslighting extravaganza in the history of American politics” — and Kamala Harris’s “flawless campaign.
No, really.
Grab the popcorn; Sunny Hostin kicked off the brainless festivities.
I was at the DNC. I went to Chicago. It’s the first political convention I’ve ever gone to. Cause it’s the first one I’ve wanted to go to. And it was a party! Okay?
After stupefying Whoopi and Behar with the revelation that she didn’t attend either Obama convention, Hostin continued.
[W]hen (rapper and DJ) Lil Jon came down the staircase, I was like, ‘This is a different kind of convention!’ Okay? And what I also felt like, Whoopi, was, you know, when Trump was president, we heard his inaugural speech, which was death and despair and how horrible our lives were and only he could fix it.
Trump Derangement Syndrome aside, these clowns can’t talk about anything without racing to dump on Trump as quickly as they can.
She continued, witlessly praising whacked-out Walz — or “Tim,” as she said she “now calls him.”
The message I heard from Tim — I’m calling him Tim now, but from the Governor and the Vice President was, ‘alone we survive but together we thrive.’ And the — she said something else, she said the measure of the strength of a leader is based on who you — not who you beat down, instead what we know is the true measure of the strength of a leader is based on who you lift up.
“Not who you beat down”? Except for Trump, rich White people, and CEOs of large corporations, you mean?
Now worked into a lather, Hostin proclaimed:
So, it’s joyful! It was joyful! I mean, and people always seem to think that Republicans have, you know the corner on patriotism and the flag. I was waving my flag, people were waving their flags. It was unbelievably patriotic. It was about America’s hope and dreams. I feel hopeful again.
Oh, please.
You people — left-wingers — have beat up on Trump for eight years over his patriotism, “American First,” and “Make America Great Again.” But now that Princess Kamala is your presidential nominee — who needs to capture independent and moderate votes — you’re like “Yankee Doodle Dandy,” running around waving your flags and boasting about your faux patriotism.
Next up, Alyssa Farah Griffin babbled on about how Harris is running a “flawless … really smart” campaign.
So, there is no doubt that the momentum is on Kamala Harris’s side right now, but talking to a lot of pollsters and I just – I know how we feel about the polls. They say this, we live in such an era of polarization.
She’s running a flawless campaign. She could ride out on a pegasus with bald eagles and a sword and she not going to pull ten points ahead because people tend to vote against the other party and with the jersey that they wear. That said, she’s running really smart.
I was at the convention for CNN. I closed my eyes at one point and I was like: ‘This could be Mitt Romney speaking!’
Mitt Romney? Please.
Sarah Haines predictably made a fool out of herself, as well.
The biggest thing that hit for me is I don’t care what your policies are before I know who you are. So, show me your integrity, show me your character, and then I’m willing to listen and have a conversation.
Stop the tape. What “integrity” have we seen from Kamala?
Her admission that she helped cover up (lied about) Joe Biden’s steadily declining cognitive capacity, month after month? Her hilarious pretend flip-flops on fracking and building a border wall? Please enlighten us, Ms. Haines.
She continued:
And to me, what I saw in both of those speeches – that actually brought me to tears – was, how they love and how they are loved. And to see this normalcy of family that’s actually presented in a very modern way. Blended family, blended faith.
A divorce and yet a thank – you know a thank you to his ex-wife. A beautiful way of showing how you can handle life and how it’s going to be dealt to all of us, but it was so warm. So, at that point I thought, you didn’t —now we can talk about policy and they did that too.
I gotta stop, gang. I just almost threw up in my mouth.
